Vision of self: contemporary self-portraiture

Every artist puts some aspect of his or herself into their work, whether it is intentional or not. "Vision of Self" brings together artists who create self-portraits through various mediums, in fundamentally different ways. From experimental film to oil painting, traditional representations of the self are challenged through the artist's own interpretations. Some meanings are easily understood while others provide more questions than they do answers. These unique self-portraits act as a catalyst between the eyes of the viewer to the mind of the artist.
